About Us

The projects industry is vital to the GCC. It creates the infrastructure that improves life, supports the economy, and lays the foundations for future growth.

As well as enabling other areas to succeed, projects themselves drive growth. They create jobs, provide training, support local businesses support consumer and business spending, enable knowledge transfer and they foster innovation.

Celebrating excellence in GCC projects

The purpose of MEED Projects Awards is to celebrate the best that the GCC projects industry has to offer. MEED’s aim is to support the development of the region by supporting this crucially important sector.

The MEED Projects Awards has become the leading stamp of quality and achievement for anyone operating in the GCC projects sector. The awards not only recognise the construction element of project delivery but also consider the value and quality of a project throughout its entire life cycle, from the design concept through to engineering and construction and its wider contribution to society and to the environment.

Why Enter

3,106 projects with a combined value of more than $286bn of projects were completed across the GCC in 2017 and 2018.

The MEED Projects Awards is the event of the year for the GCC projects industry providing an annual get together for the region’s projects community.
